Survivor San Juan del Sur Power Rankings – Bada Bing Bada Drew

So, last week wasn’t a complete shocker. We all know that John is going to get booted early. It was only a question of how.

But what are the implications of his ouster? Will this make Coyopa an even weaker tribe? Or will this bring about a new change and help them finally win something? Previews have shown us some tension between Keith and Jeremy but we also see Drew going off at camp. And there’s also a hint of someone throwing a challenge.

Who will be voted out next? Will it be a blindside?

Because we’re experts at these, we’ve studied the previews and analyzed the last episodes to predict who’s going to get a snuffed torch in this week’s rankings. Check ’em out.

He's the only untouchable player at this point and I can see it being the case for most of the season. He's just playing a brilliant game.

This week: 1st

I'm really impressed by Josh. He wasn't close to being my favorite at the start of the game but so far, he's the only who has shown a solid strategy. He's like the scrawny exchange student on the wrestling team who nobody wants anything to do with but then surprises everyone by tackling the biggest guy at a wrestling match.

This week: 2nd

She has exceeded all my expectations of her and now that Coyopa has regrouped, I don't think she's anywhere at the bottom of their totem pole. It's either Dale or Baylor, not Jaclyn. Keep proving your haters wrong Jaclyn!

This week: 2nd

Even if Hunahpu loses the next immunity challenge, Kelley is not going anywhere. She's got a good alliance and there are other more boot-worthy players at camp.

Last week: 4th
This week: 3rd
Kelley appears to be one of the strongest of Hunahpu and I don't see her anywhere near the chopping block of that tribe.

Last week: 14th
This week: 3rd

She's obviously the stronger female and if Coyopa wants to have the numbers at the merge, then they need to keep Jaclyn. Add to that the fact that she hasn't been shady or given any reason for the others to think she's a future threat.

Last week: 2nd
This week: 4th

Jeremy should be safe but he's a few spots lower this week because he might have a conflict with the stubborn Drew. I trust that Jeremy wins that potential battle, and I would be surprised if he ends up leaving.

There's absolutely no way people would vote off Missy at this point. Why should they? She looks strong enough for challenges and she's very likeable. Plus, they can use a mother figure out there. She's like a door mat at this point, people pass by her but nobody really pays attention.

This week: 5th

Wes, like Josh, is untouchable but removing John Rocker from the game weakens him a bit. But he's still up there as one of Coyopa's likable guy so we shouldn't be worried about him.

Last week: 1st
This week: 5th

He should be happy because he finally got to exact revenge. The problem is, I feel that Jeremy has become quite cocky about his position in the tribe. His fight with Keith next episode is an indication. He needs to tone it down because he might annoy his allies and get sent home quicker than he should.

Last week: 16th
This week: 6th

Without Rocker, Julie is golden. But she's still one of the perceived weakest of Hunahpu so I don't know, maybe I should have put him a little more lower? All I know is, Julie can now focus on herself without John.

This guy is probably not used to being ignored in real life. But in this game, he must be thrilled to be somehow invisible to the tribe. He hasn't shown much gameplay so far. And his closest ally isn't really someone you can count on to help you strategize your way to the top. His best move now is to stay invisible.

This week: 7th

Alec is slowly becoming a disappointment. He's got a lot of promise in his background but he's just kinda fading. If he doesn't make moves, and lets Josh control their tribe, he'll end up going far but got nothing to defend his gameplay. Perhaps, a few Immunity wins?

Last week: 12th
This week: 7th

I like the fact that Drew is living up to our expectations. Next episode's preview showed him being a total douche, and that's so good. As much as it would be fun to see him get voted out (which would be a total shock to him) those at the bottom can use him as a shield.

Last week: 3rd
This week: 8th

Missy is loving, caring and sweet. But those don't matter in the game of Survivor. If she'll be perceived as one of the weakest, I think she could be in trouble.

Last week: 6th
This week: 8th

I think her attack on John last episode was a well calculated move. She's managed to, in some ways, exact revenge on her sister's demise.
Her mouth may get her in trouble but I think it'd benefit the others because she's second or third in the list of annoying tribe members. So she should be sticking around for a while.

Last week: 14th
This week: 9th

I like to think that she's safe, but the girl has already received a number of votes within 3 episodes. That's something. But what matters is she's still in this game, and I predict that she's going to continue owning other threats. Go underdog!

Last week: 16th
This week: 9th

Now that her boyfriend is gone, Julie's got nothing to worry about. She can now concentrate on playing a more aggressive game. She, Natalie, and Jeremy better start talking so they can take control of Hunahpu.

Last week: 5th
This week: 10th

I liked Natalie more last episode because I love me some feisty lady, but I don't know if it made her look bad with some of her tribemates. Coyopa probably hates her now, and Julie might have some angst so she's probably in trouble once Hunahpu loses. Uh-oh

Last week: 9th
This week: 10th

I haven't seen enough of Wes to make me want to root for him. Unless he does something really stupid, I don't think he's going anywhere at this point.

Last week: 9th
This week: 11th

Dale is in danger at Coyopa right now. He's the only one who voted with John so he's clearly the outsider right now. I wouldn't mind seeing him leave but man, he had a great start.

Last week: 11th
This week: 11th

Although Drew is a bigger douche, Jon is more threatening because he looks way smarter. And I don't think the ladies of Hunahpu trusts him the way they trust Jeremy. What he needs to do is beat Jaclyn at the duel to give his tribe more reason to keep him around.

Last week: 10th
This week: 12th

Keith is in trouble because he's weak and based on the newest preview, he could be targeting one of Hunahpu's kingpin which is Jeremy so good luck to him on that. I would be super impressed though if he ends up beating the kingpin and be the kingpin himself.
Last week: 13th
This week: 12th

Still annoying as ever, Baylor managed to become quite notorious at Coyopa without being a total bitch. For some reason she has a really negative image. It could be the edit. Or she's just really that annoying. I hope she makes a huge move to revitalize her tarnished image.

Last week: 11th
This week: 13th

I'm probably delusional for putting him this low since he's the strongest guy of his tribe and he's clearly an asset. BUT Survivor is not only about who's strong and who's weak, it's also about alliances and he's got nothing. You're in danger bro!

Last week: 10th
This week: 13th

I'm starting to like Keith but his position at the tribe doesn't look so good. He has no allies and his age can be a liability. He's like the tribe's favorite old dog that everyone's willing to let go of when then need arises.
The preview shows him trying to make a move by throwing Jeremy under the bus, which is good. But I doubt it's going to end well for him.

Last week: 12th
This week: 14th

From the previews, it seems like Drew is gone but I'm putting a little benefit of the doubt because Survivor previews tend to mislead their viewers. Possibly not this time though, three episodes in he's got negative edit, and the 4th might be his peak and alas, it might also be his time.

Last week: 8th
This week: 14th

I'm sorry. Reed who?

Last week: 8th
This week: 15th

I'm making a risk here by putting Reed at the bottom. Like I said, the previews might be misleading and it would be a rando like Reed who will be Hunahpu's first casualty. With his edit, I can see it being REALLY possible.
Last week: 3rd
This week: 15th

Dale, Dale. It's sad that by the third episode his edit has become negative. I liked how he saved himself during the first episode but the turnout of events at Coyopa has put him once again at the bottom. And I don't see any way for him to get out of it, unless Josh realizes he can use him or he can make Alec and Wes swear allegiance to him.
