Polarity Physiotherapy Center has become one of my favorite places aside from the gym and dance studio I frequent simply because it helps me work on my fitness.
If you type “polarity therapy” into your dictionary app, you’re most likely to find this definition:
a holistic discipline that seeks to achieve physical and emotional health through a system of touch, diet, exercise, and self-awareness designed to balance energy flows in the body.
Based on my experience, that perfectly describes what Polarity is all about.
Nestled in one of the quieter and less crowded parts in Quezon City, Polarity feels more like a friend’s home than a health center. The gated property signals privacy for clients. It’s nice to be in a facility where one doesn’t have to worry about the loud chatter and ambient noises common in most establishments.
It’s one of the many things you’ll enjoy here at Polarity: the opportunity to really relax.
Inside, you’ll be greeted by an accommodating staff. As mentioned earlier, it’s like entering a pal’s house. There’s an instant feeling of comfort. Everything in the lobby works well in creating that cozy air–from the beautiful photos on the walls to the plush seats.
The Polarity staff is super friendly and professional. They make clients feel so comfortable it’s like you’ve known each other from before.
The first time I came here, the initial feeling of anxiety immediately dissipated because of their very pleasant demeanor.
Their friendly manners translate to the therapy rooms.
Manual therapy sessions last for about 45 minutes. Prior to the session, your therapist will assess your condition to determine the right treatment.
The rooms are very cozy (there are 8 of them). The cream-colored walls and lighting are very relaxing. The landscape framed photos on the wall have a soothing effect. Everything is done just right to put you in a state so comfortable, you’d have to stop yourself from falling asleep in the massage table draped in very soft sheets.
If you want a bit more luxury, then you might want to try their VIP room.
Larger than the others, it has a flat screen TV, a small couch, and reading lamp for when you want to just relax and pass time after (or before) your session.
Polarity has an admirable staff of licensed physical therapists, most of which are US-licensed. Only goes to show that you’re in perfectly safe hands. These guys know what they are doing.
But more than that, the PTs here genuinely care about your well-being. I never saw them without a smile on their faces. And they’re always making sure you’re comfortable during the session. They go beyond what their jobs call for. That’s enough to make we want to trust them with my fitness and wellness.
Speaking of fitness, Polarity is also a great place to shape up. They also offer functional training programs that are very useful, and I must say highly needed, for every working person.
Mayo Clinic says fitness training helps:
train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work or in sports.
Functional training basically trains the body for activities performed in daily life.
It trains each muscle group and emphasizes core stability.
Polarity has a designated space for fitness training and it comes with everything you need to get in shape.
They have everything from kettlebells to dumbbells and stationary bikes. Whatever your fitness needs are, you’re sure to get it here.
Polarity Physiotherapy Center is the ideal place for ANYONE who wants to get in shape: weekend warriors, fitness junkies, yuppies who have a sedentary lifestyle, those with existing conditions, and the elderly.
