KFit – Your Best Fitness Buddy

They say familiarity breeds contempt.

While it may not apply to all aspects of life, it does, at least in my experience, have an impact on your fitness.

Please pardon the cliche but the road to fitness is really quite a journey. Contrary to what most people think, getting fit isn’t something you achieve in a few weeks’ time.

It will take a lot of time. You need invest a lot of hours to get to your goal. Most importantly, you need to pack a lot patience because you won’t see results right away.

What I discovered is that it’s more effective to have as diverse fitness regimen as possible so you don’t get reach plateau.

That’s why KFit is such a great fitness buddy.

What is KFit?

This app makes getting (and staying) fit more enjoyable because it gives you access to tons of fitness establishments from gyms to dance and yoga studios to CrossFit boxes.

With KFit you can have access to as many fitness clubs and similar establishments, allowing you to have a very diverse exercise regimen.

You can try any of the following activities:

  • Yoga
  • Pilates
  • CrossFit
  • Strength training
  • Boxing
  • Circuit training
  • Martial arts
  • Swimming
  • Zumba
  • Dance
  • Table tennis
  • Archery
  • Sports massage

For fitness enthusiasts, this is heaven. It’s the equivalent of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory for those with sweet teeth.

KFit lets you try out a wide range of physical activities without the need for multiple gym memberships.

This saves you tons of money.

Now why would this even interest you?

One would argue that it might not seem practical to hop around the metro, trying out the different fitness establishments. It’s not.

For just 1000 pesos a month, you’ll have access to dozens of gyms, CrossFit boxes, wellness centers, and sports venues.

How much does a decent gym membership cost? It’s usually at least 1500 pesos. And while some gyms offer classes like Zumba, dance, and yoga, nothing beats doing these inside establishments that really specialize on them.

In one of the gyms I frequent,  I observed that some who have one-on-one boxing sessions with certain personal trainers aren’t exactly doing it right.

I’m no expert but I’ve taken several classes with a trainer who knows boxing and I could see that those people aren’t getting what they signed up for.

They don’t have the proper form or even the basic techniques. They just throw punches the way one would in a common street fight.

The funny thing is the trainers don’t even bother correcting their clients. Or they don’t really know what they’re doing. I could be wrong.

It’s kinda sad because I feel like the clients are not getting the most out of the experience. More importantly, it’s unsafe. They could get injured.

Another reason KFit makes for a great alternative to gym memberships is it keeps you excited and motivated.

Doing the same thing over and over could get old, hence making you lose interest. Lifting weights, for example, all the time will eventually get tiring. And while it can sculpt and tone your muscles, it might not improve your endurance the same way a good cardio work out would.

A dance or step class is a good cardio workout. You can do this on days when you’re not lifting. But if you’re subscribed to a gym that doesn’t have these, you’ll need to find a dance studio or fitness center and pay.

KFit takes eliminates the need for this

You can simply check the app for available classes near you and reserve your slot–without the additional cost.

Simply put, KFit lets you have the best of all worlds.
