Daily’s Diet Healthy Calorie-Counted Meals Are the Answer to Your Meal Problems at Work

One of the challenges of working full-time in an office is figuring out what to eat for lunch.

Yes, the struggle is real.

A 1-pc. chicken meal is okay for the first three days but if you have to munch on deep fried chicken or anything that comes out of a fast food kitchen for an entire week, all those trans fats and MSG will have a significant impact on your health. Not to mention its effect on your budget.

Bringing baon is good and a better option–until you realize that you’d rather spend that extra hour in the morning sleeping than cooking lunch.

You lose either way.

And I am sure that anyone with a job understands this dilemma.

I do. The sad part is it’s so easy to fall into a pit of unhealthy eating because your food choices are limited to cafeteria grub and fast foods.

Then I discovered Daily’s Diet.

I’ve seen different healthy food delivery services and while I’ve always wanted to try one out, it’s not easy to pick one that’s sure to give you exactly what you need–food that is both healthy and delicious.

Looking at the different providers online, it was difficult to select one. I’m looking for the right balance of affordability and quality of food. While I’m aware that one can’t really gauge the quality of food by looking at photos on a Facebook page, the quality of the images and presentation contribute to my decision-making.

If I’m going to spend money on food delivery, it has to be on something I’m going to have fun eating.

That’s why I decided to go with Daily’s Diet.

So how does it work?

You sign up by shooting them an email (or text message). You’ll receive a text from their nutritionist and you need to fill up a short survey. This will help them determine the kind of diet suitable for you since they offer various calorie counted meals. You can choose between 1,100 to 2,500 KCal meals that are perfect for losing, maintaining, and gaining weight.

You can choose to have your meals delivered at your home or at the office.

It makes most sense to have the meals delivered to the office. That way, you don’t need to haul an extra bag when traveling to work.

It works really well for me because I don’t need to wake up very early to eat breakfast and bring an additional paper bag. I get to the office and the food is there. Saves me a lot of time.

What’s in a bag?

Daily’s will send you a total of 5 items: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two snacks.

How does it taste?

I’ve attempted “eating healthy” more times than I’d care to admit. I knew that all those hours spent at the gym wouldn’t yield results until I start choosing the stuff I shove in my mouth. And for someone with a big appetite, it’s challenging to stick to the healthy stuff, especially if tasty fast food is within reach.

Those attempts were futile. And for the two weeks that I’ve successfully stuck with a no-rice diet, I ended up getting sick for two weeks.

That’s when I decided to go with calorie-counted meals.

It was a decision I didn’t regret for a second.

The first four weeks

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I was only three weeks in and I was already losing weight. And it wasn’t something I discovered myself.

My office mates knew about my illness-inducing-diet a week before and if there was any weight loss that happened, it was because of me getting sick. They were the ones to point out that I was actually shedding off a few pounds. I was oblivious at first because I wasn’t really focused on stepping on the scale. I was just enjoying my daily dose of healthy, calorie-counted goodies.

Another reason I wasn’t paying attention was that it was my birthday month and there were several days when I ate more than I should and had more cheat days than I would like to admit.

So to actually lose a few pounds is really good news.

In the middle of my fourth week, I decided to check my weight. I lost about 11 lbs. Nice.

It didn’t take much for me to decide to renew my subscription for another week.

I am now at week 7 and I’m hopeful that I shed more pounds while keeping my palates happy.

There are other reasons why I am happy with Daily’s Diet.

For one, its staff is very helpful. I constantly get reminders for my subscription, which is very handy because I tend to forget stuff because of having so many things to juggle. They respond quickly to queries, both via text and email and accommodate the very few requests I had.

Most importantly, the meals are awesome. I’m not exaggerating when I say that the meals they come up with look like they’re whipped up in a gourmet chef’s kitchen. The presentation is drooling. The taste is wonderful.

Plus, the menu is very diverse. The dishes are a great combination of international cuisines–Asian, Oriental, American, even English. Daily’s Diet definitely gives a whole new meaning to the term diet plan.

Not once did I feel like I was on a diet because I was eating delicious food every single day.

Daily’s Diet gives me one more reason to be excited to come to work every day. Each time I get to the office and see that brown paper bag with the red tag and my name sprawled in the front, I smile at the idea of being surprised at the healthy treats waiting for me to devour.
