Blue bloods season 5

All these and more are what’s in store for avid fans in the season premiere of “Blue Bloods.”

“Blue Bloods” is about a multi-generational family of cops in New York City. As police commissioner, Frank Reagan heads both the police force and his brood. He uses diplomacy to run NYPD and his family, which also applies to how he deals with politics that plagued his father, Henry, who was a former commissioner.

Frank’s son, Danny, is the source of both pride and concern for the patriarch. As a seasoned detective, Iraqi veteran, and a family man, he uses dubious tactics on several occasions to crack cases. Erin, N.Y. Assistant D.A., is the only woman in the Reagan clan. She serves as the legal compass for her father and siblings.

Fresh out of Harvard Law School is Jamie, the youngest Reagan. Considered the family’s “golden boy,” he was forced to give up a promising career in law and becomes a cop. His life takes on an abrupt turn when he was offered to become a part of a clandestine police investigation that even his father knows nothing about. This move can seriously affect the family’s legacy.
